FIRM allows items to be scanned quickly from process to process by the operators responsible. This allows reporting on the volumes of items repaired by individual operators and gives accurate information which can be used for staff incentives.

Operator scanning also allows higher levels of feedback for quality checking of all work, when the number of items returned under warranty is analysed.
