Fenestra Integrated Repair Manager FeaturesRepair Process ManagementThe repair industry differs from other factory style operations due to the range of activities which may be required, depending on the state of the items returned for repair. FIRM contains a flexible Process Definition Tool which allows any process sequence to be defined, with the ability to nominate customer contact points. In addition, automatic invoice text statements (E.g. "Beyond Economic Repair") can be passed to the invoice generation step. All stages in the process are tracked for each item using the item barcode. Barcodes are also used for each operator and for each process step defined. This allows the system to record which operator is performing what step on which items, simply using a standard barcode reader. By tracking all processes in this way it is possible to monitor the shop floor and operator activity using a series of standard reports. |
