In November 2010 Samsung released what has become the first mainstream Android tablet - even though for some purposes it is still considered as an overgrown mobile phone. It runs what was - at the time - the latest version of Android - 2.2 or Froyo. It has a 7" capacitive touchscreen, a 1GHz processor and 500Mb of RAM. Now, these specs will probably seem pretty mundane, but, as the first of its type, the Galaxy Tab deserves a proper review.
