First Year of Wind GenerationA year into generating power, have we got our money back? Nowhere near. And if we had, that would obviuosly suggest the Feed-in Tarif had been a little over-generous. Probaly like most similar installations, we lost some generating time when the system blew an earth-leakage trip. So our measure of one year cannot be exactly accurate. But in roughly a year of operation - give or take a couple of weeks - the turbine generated... 11,086 kWh of electricity. Or around 11 megawatt hours. Or around 30 kWh per day. Or around £9 per day. Or - an averaged rate of 1.27kW Or a "duty cycle" of around 21%
