Importing and Matching Sales Data to Staff and or Teams

When all members of a campaign have been keyed-in or imported either at the start of the campaign or retained from previous campaigns, full maintenance facilities are provided to allow participants to be added/edited or deleted. One important feature of the system is the ability to move participants from team to team and be able to retain the points earned by the individual and adjust team aggregates accordingly. The import facility allows data of any structure to be allocated to the internal fields using an interactive import wizard. Address checking is an important feature available if the Postal Address File option is purchased with the system.

Sales Data Import

Matching and de-duplication checking is provided on the imported sales data to ensure that points are accurately allocated to the appropriate participants. The data sources might include the dealership, agency or business internal sales processing systems or may be from independent distributor systems or data collection agencies. Floppy diskette is the usual media, however more automated data interfaces can be supported. If there is any doubt about the quality of data being imported or the matching/checking processes show a high level of error, the import can be rolled back and the data reset to original values to allow the data to be investigated.
